ProJobMitra ("we", "us", "our") is operated by WIGO INDIA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use projobmitra.com (the "Platform").

• Account information: name, email address, mobile number, and password (encrypted) when you register.
• Google Sign-In: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.
• Profile information: for job seekers — resume, work experience, education, skills, and salary details. For employers — company name, logo, and business details.
• Payment information: when you purchase a subscription or plan, payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay handles this securely.
• Support tickets: if you contact support, we collect your name, contact number, email, and any files you choose to upload.
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken (e.g., job applications, saved jobs, resume downloads), and basic technical data like IP address and browser type.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To connect job seekers with employers (e.g., showing your resume to employers who purchase resume-access plans)
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send important emails — password resets, application updates, and notifications
• To respond to support requests
• To improve the Platform and prevent misuse or fraud

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these cases:

• Employers: if you are a job seeker, employers who have an active plan may view your profile and download your resume.
• Service providers: we use trusted third parties to run the Platform, including Razorpay (payments), Google (sign-in), Vercel (hosting), and Aiven (database). These providers only access what's needed to perform their function.
• Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and users' safety.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

• You can access and update your profile information anytime from your dashboard.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.
• You can control your profile visibility (job seekers can hide their profile from employer searches).
• You can opt out of non-essential emails, though we may still send account-related notifications.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your session. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

7. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, in line with standard employment eligibility. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
